Homesteaders

This week we’ll spend time living life on the farm and exploring the woods as the early homesteaders did! We’ll bake bread in our wood-fired oven, plant, cultivate and harvest fruits and vegetables from the garden. We’ll learn to shepherd our flock of sheep and care for the laying hens.

Our full day camps offer flexible arrival and departure times as an option.

8:30am - 9:00am: Camper & Family Orientation and Check-in
9:00am - 3:00pm: Camp Program
3:00pm - 4:00pm: Flexible Departure

Tuesday to Friday:

8:00am - 9:00am: Flexible Arrival
9:00am - 3:00pm: Camp Program
3:00pm - 4:00pm: Flexible Departure

Friday:

2:30pm - 3:00pm: Camper & Family Marshmallow Roast and Check-out

Each of our day camps has a specific theme and focuses on certain skills, yet some elements will be a part of every camper's time at Wilderness Experience: active time outdoors, Bible exploration, cultivating relationships with others, journaling and reflecting, interacting with animals, and growing in faith and care for God’s creation.
