Junior Explorers

We’ll learn what it takes to become a proficient outdoor explorer. Setting up shelters, cooking, map skills and more! We’ll practice modes of travel, hiking in the woods and canoeing on the pond. Soon you’ll be guiding your family on their next outdoor adventure.

Our full day camps offer flexible arrival and departure times as an option.

8:30am - 9:00am: Camper & Family Orientation and Check-in
9:00am - 3:00pm: Camp Program
3:00pm - 4:00pm: Flexible Departure

Tuesday to Friday:

8:00am - 9:00am: Flexible Arrival
9:00am - 3:00pm: Camp Program
3:00pm - 4:00pm: Flexible Departure

Friday:

2:30pm - 3:00pm: Camper & Family Marshmallow Roast and Check-out

Each of our day camps has a specific theme and focuses on certain skills, yet some elements will be a part of every camper's time at Wilderness Experience: active time outdoors, Bible exploration, cultivating relationships with others, journaling and reflecting, interacting with animals, and growing in faith and care for God’s creation.
