We'll spend our first day at "The Farm," learning about the right gear for canoe camping, and practicing basic canoe skills on the pond. The next two days we'll canoe rivers and lakes near the farm learning how to portage a canoe, read the river, and make camp. We will head out for our final two-day, one-night camping trip in the Superior National Forest using our newfound skills. This overnight trip will be Thursday- Friday, with pick-up on Friday being the normal camp pick-up time.
-Participants will need to bring their own lunch Monday-Wednesday. Food for the overnight trip will be provided.
Our full day camps offer early drop-off and late pick-up as an option.

3:00-5:00 Late pick-up $25/week

Each of our day camps has a specific theme and focuses on certain skills, yet some elements will be a part of every camper's time at Wilderness Experience: active time outdoors, Bible exploration, cultivating relationships with others, journaling and reflecting, interacting with animals, and growing in faith and care for God’s creation.
